Former Governor of Adamawa state Murtala Nyako and his son, alongside others, accused with him, were on Friday granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Bail was granted to the four accused to the sum of N350m each,with two surety,and one surety must be a serving Director in Government establishment,the surety must possess landed property in Abuja which must be verified by the court Bailiff.they are also expected to swear affidavit of means.
They were ordered by the Judge,Justice Evoh Chukwu to deposit their passports and Travel documents with the court Registrar.
Nyako was removed by Adamawa state House of Assembly and was arraign for N29bn fraud alongside his son and other on Wednesday.
