A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered final forfeiture of a $37.5m mansion of Nigerian Former petroleum minister Diezani Madueke.Justice Chuka Obiozor in his judgement on Monday ordered forfeiture of the mansion in Banana Island as well as rent payments of $2,740,197.96 and N84,537,840.70 collected from the property to the federal Government.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had earlier told the court that the property was acquired through illicit and shady deals by the corrupt ex-minister.
