The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission yesterday secured a remand warrant for Fani Kayode the former minister and the spokesperson for the Goodluck Jonathan campaign Organisation,who was detained for receiving N840m out of N4b payout in the 2015 presidential election.
The move according to the EFCC is to enable the commission carry out its investigation properly since it will allows the Agency to detain the ex minister longer than required by law.
