Where Olympic Game Began

 
Actress Katerina Lechou, acting the high priestess, lights the Olympic flame at the Temple of Hera in Olympia, the sanctuary where the Olympic Games were born in 776 BC, on October 24, 2017 during the lighting ceremony of the Olympic flame for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The 2018 Winter Olympics will take place from February 9 until February 25, 2017.
