Prince William and Harry Visit Princess Diana Memorial Garden On Eve of 20th Anniversary

   William and Harry take a few minutes to read messages and cards left behind in memory of their mother after their tour of the memorial garden today. William recently admitted that at the time of her death, he could not understand why the public were ‘crying and wailing’ when ‘they didn’t really know’ his mother. But he added: ‘Looking back, I have learned to understand what it was she gave the world and what she gave a lot of people'

Prince Harry and William on Wednesday visited the Memorial garden of their late mother Princess Diana, who died 20 years ago in a car crash in France.
The two brothers viewed tributes left at the gate of Kensington Palace, home to the late princess.they were joined by Duchess of Cambridge at the Memorial garden



 The Duke of Cambridge recently said his mother was a 'ray of light in a grey world'. Diana, 7 Days gave the behind-the scenes story of the week before her funeral and featured some of the major figures at the time including former PM Tony Blair
 In echoes of scenes from 20 years ago, the princes paused to read tributes and look at photos of their mother

      The royals took time to read the messages people had left in tribute to their mother
