Street Dinner Organised For Greenfell Tower Fire Community Volunteers

Iftar dinner is held for community volunteers who helped respond to the GrenfellTower fire that killed at least 12 people. Food and plates were spread out on a long red rug laid on the sidewalk on Wednesday evening.

Police would not confirm how many people are unaccounted for because the building is still on fire 14 hours after it started (pictured this morning) - 12 are known to be dead but the death toll is likely to be significantly much higher
As the death toll continues to rise, it has been revealed contractors that worked on the £8.6 million Grenfell Tower refurbishment could have spent just £5,000 more on fireproof cladding
