Donald Trump broke with presidential protocol and ditched his press entourage to eat dinner with his family at famous New York steak house 21 Club (pictured inset) Tuesday - and was met with applause (pictured, main).
The mood was more bitter among the press pool that is employed to follow the President-elect everywhere, as they had been told that he would remain in Trump Tower overnight and that they could go home. But 45 minutes later, Trump - along with Ivanka, Melania, Eric and Jared Kushner - left the tower in a massive motorcade, to dine in the very same restaurant he graced after his wedding to Melania.
What may seem to some like the spirit of rebellion that won over the electorate, however, appears to critics as a sign that his camp is disorganized and that he's uncomfortable with the scrutiny that comes with the presidency.
