37 Years old Alton Sterling father of 5 was shot to death on Tuesday in Baton Rouge Louisiana by two white policemen in front of a convenience store .
The two policemen Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, responded to a complaint.a female called 911 to complain that a black guy was standing in front of a convenience store selling CD.she said he brought out a gun telling another man to leave the front of the store for he was not supposed to be there.
According to eyewitness,when the police arrived, they yelled and asked him to get on the floor, both policemen were able to restrain him on the ground with both officers on top of him, one pointing the gun at his chest. One of the officers then yells at Sterling: 'You f****** move and I swear to God...' then he screamed "Gun, gun, the police with the gun shot him 5 times in quick successions before help could come he was pronounced dead.
Salamoni and Lake have both been put on administrative leave as the fatal shooting is investigated. On Wednesday, a Department of Justice spokesman announced that the agency would be looking into whether the two police officers violated any civil liberties.
