We have Identified the banks keeping our stolen money

                              

President Buhari said yesterday that the country has Identified financial institutions and countries which participated in keeping proceeds from stolen oil from Nigeria in the bid and efforts to recovers illegally amassed wealth by public servant and corrupt government official.
Buhari reveals this when he received members of US Congress,that the breakthrough was with the support and cooperation of international communities through gathering intelligence required to trace the stolen funds,he told the delegation leg by congressman Rep Darrel Issa


He said: “We are getting cooperation from the international community, including information on ships that take crude oil from Nigeria and change direction, or pour their contents into other ships mid-stream.
“Some monies were paid to individual accounts. We are identifying the financial institutions and countries that are involved. I have been assured that when we get all our documents together, the United States and other countries will treat our case with sympathy.”
He said he will welcome more US-Nigeria regular Bi-National commission meeting which will  promote bi-literal trade and fight against terrorism
“We look forward to helping you in many ways to end the Boko Haram insurgency and the theft of crude oil in the Gulf of Guinea”, Darrel had stated.
