President Nkurunziza,close ally assassinated

Security Chief of Burundi and a close ally of the President Nkurunziza was shot dead by gunmen dressed in military uniform on Sunday.
General Adolphe Nshimirimana was killed in his SUV along with his 3 body guards in a sporadic gunfire in Kamenge northern Bujumbura.

Witness said the four gunmen sprayed the SUV with bullet around 8am and drove off in a lorry,two had machine guns and two rocket launchers.
