Abike Dabire sues Diamond Bank and punch Newspaper for Libel

                 
Former member House of Representative Mrs Abike Dabiri Arewa has sued Diamond Bank and Punch News paper, for publishing her name as one of the debtors to the bank.
She told the high court Igbosere that she was wrongly accused of owing Diamond Bank  N122m with her picture published  as a Director of Thriller Endeavor,a company she said she has never heard of,she is suing the Bank for N500m and public apology,

"It cost me irreparable damage, it has totally embarassed me, i found it very very shocking and i just feel that the best thing to do is to seek legal redress in court.“My lawyers are demanding for N500 million compensation from Diamond Bank and from The Punch Newspaper for doing that,” She said.
