APC alleges Gov Wike Send N2b per day and Squander N60 billion a Month

The State chapter of the All Progressive Congress has accused governor Wike of Rivers state of spending recklessly N2 billion a day and N60 billion in 30 days.
The state APC Chairman Dr Davies Ibiama Ikanya disclosed this on Thursday in a statement released in Port Harcourt.

“In what is clearly a tale of the absurd, Wike’s rubber stamp State House of Assembly has approved a whopping sum of N30bn within 30 days for expenditure without any project attached.

“Apart from this N30bn, the administration of Rt. Hon. Chbuike Amaechi left the sum of N7.5bn, plus the N23bn released to the state from the Federation Account and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), making the total funds available for Wike to squander over N60bn within 30 days,” Ikanya said.

He compared Rivers to other States where capital Projects are been spent on to improve the overall standard,he cried foul over wike's act of  sqandermania, and liquidation of states resources.
The Rivers APC has gone as fars as asking Banks not to grant the Rivers Govt Loans

“The period of sharing Rivers State money among some unscrupulous politicians ceased since 2007 and cannot be reintroduced through the back door,” the party said.
They appeal to the people of the state to be patient until their rightful Governor Dakuku Peterside will takeover, when the Election tribunal finalizes the election Petition.
