Prince Aladetoyinbo emerge as the New Deji of Akure

                                  

Prince Kola Aladetoyinbo has been selected the new Deji of Akure following the unanimously selection by king makers of the ancient town among 13 contestants,Aladetoyinbo is a prince from the Osupa  ruling house.
The ruling house forwarded the list of nominees to the kingmakers after a meeting in a process monitored by officials of the Akure South  Local government.


Among the nominees were Kayode Oluwole, Adegbola Adelabu, Adegbite Kayode, Adejuyigbe Femi, Adeolu Adepoju, Aladetoyinbo Kole Patrick and Agbebi Leye Arimoyo Ayodele, Bello Oluyemisi, Daramola Adeyemi, Ade Falodun, Ogunsuyi Oluwole and Samuel Adegboro Adebayo..

The nomination came as a result of a directive from the state government through the Akure south  local government in a letter to the Osupa ruling house to fill the vacant throne.
Prince Aladetoyinbo who was elected as the New Deji has been living in Baltimore, in the US,he has earlier contested the thrown before the deposed Oba Adesina Adepoju,
Deposed Oba Adepoju has gone to court restraining the state government for installing a new Oba,he was deposed for publicly assaulting his wife princess Bolanle Adepoju
The state governor is expected to present the Instrument of office,including staff of authority to the new King on Monday
