FIFA president Sepp Blatter has announced yesterday his intention to resign as the president of the organisation he headed for 17 years amidst cash and bribery scandal that shock the entire football families of the world.
In a surprised announcement yesterday evening at FIFA Headquarters in Zurich he disclosed that he will call emergency Congress of FIFA executive to vote his replacement,
official said the meeting will take place between December and March next Year.
'I have been reflecting deeply about my presidency and about the forty years in which my life has been inextricably bound to FIFA and the great sport of football. he said
