A Federal high court in Lagos has directed the National Drug law Enforcement Agency,NDLEA to suspend all action in a move to extradite senator-elect Buruji Kashamu to the United States to face charges of drug related offences.
Presiding Judge Justice Buba said both Parties should Maintain status quo till all application where decided on,on Thursday while adjoining hearing of pending application on the subject till 19th June.
Kashamu has filed a Committal suit against the Attorney General and the Chairman NDLEA for contempt of Court.
The NDLEA responded by challenging the Court jurisdiction to handle the matter, and also seek to revise the court order of May 26th ordering all Operatives of NDLEA to withdraw from the Buruji's resident
