Chinese hackers steals 4million American Federal Employee data
The Department of Homeland Security has disclosed that Chinese hackers has broken into US government computers and stolen sensitive information of 4 million Federal workers calling it an attack on the Nation.
The department fears such sensitive information could be used to blackmail, defraud and impersonate federal employees
The Office of Personnel Management OPM that has been hacked can affect every federal Agency, including President Obama's Office
The OPM is the government Human Resources department which handles hundreds of thousands of sensitive security clearances and background investigations on prospective employees each year.
The OPM manages 4.2 million federal employees, including 1.5 million who serve as uniformed military personnel.
But the Chinese Embassy in Washington dismissed the allegation that such act will not be allowed in Chinese law.the spokesperson in a statement said 'Jumping to conclusions and making hypothetical accusations is not responsible and counterproductive.
