Buhari had Closed door meeting with Service chiefs

 Buhari meets Service Chiefs in Abuja.

President Buhari held a closed door meeting with service chief yesterday 10th June ahead of Thursday lake Chad Basin Commission meeting.
The closed door meeting with the security chiefs was to strategize the Country's plan for presentation at the gathering.
Among those present at the security meeting held at the Defence House in Abuja were Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Ismail Aliyu; Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh; and Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin and the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.)

The discussion bothered on operationalization of the Multinational Joint Task Force and the contributions of each member state according to Aliyu who briefed State House news correspondence

We came to brief Mr. President on the meeting of the Lake Chad Basin Commission which the Head of States are attending on Thursday.
“The arrangement of the meeting held between the Chiefs of Defence Staff of the Lake Chad Basin and Ministers of Defence which is culminating in the President’s meeting on Thursday.
“We have discussed the issue of the operationalistion of the Multinational Joint Task Force and the citing of its headquarters in N’Djamena and the contribution from various states.
“This is with the objective of fighting the insurgency within that region. Some issues came out that the President identified, he wants us to see the end of this fight for the purpose of peace, security and prosperity of the region. he said
