The All Progressive Congress has accepted the Senator Saraki as the duly elected senate President,the party has earlier rejected the elections, threatening to go to court over the election of Saraki and Dogara as the President and speaker respectively.
The National Chairman of the APC Chief John Odigie Oyegun said on Friday while feeding questions from State House correspondents in Abuja that the elections was one of the challenges the party had to face but will come out of it stronger,he indicated that the party has accepted saraki as the senate president.
“Of course, he has been duly elected by his colleagues. End of Story.
“We have a reality, and we must live with it.’’
The chairman said that was not the end of the party as some people had
insinuated.
“No! It is not the first or second time we have passed through and we came
out stronger.
“This may not even be the last time, we come out every time stronger and
more determined.’’
“People say they are going to court which is their right; but as a party
we are taking a look at everything and I assure you we are coming out
stronger,’’ he said.
