Aliko Dangote Promise to empower 40,000 Lagos State women with N400 million

 

Africa richest man Aliko Dangote has promised to empower 40,000 women in 20 Local government area of Lagos State with N400m
He said each woman will receive N10,000 to start up a small business of her own and 2000 women will be empowered in each of the Local government area.

Dangote made this promise during a courtesy visit he paid to Lagos state Governor Akinwunmi Ambode,he said the Money will be made available through Dangote's Foundation
He said his visit was to congratulate the Governor for his victory and inauguration as the 14th Chief Executive Officer of the State and also to assure the governor of his commitment to finish the ongoing project embarked on by his company.

I’ve assured him that we really love doing business here; it’s a friendly state for doing business; I also assured him on all projects we are doing that we are on course; that is, building the largest ever single refinery of 650,000 barrels per day, which is by far more than the consumption of Nigeria and that would satisfy our consumption, at least, for the next seven to ten years by the time we finish.”he said
The Governor also promise that his administration will give investor a comfortable business run in the state.as he call on more investors to invest in the state.
