Mrs Phillipa Okoye is suing a wall street Investment Bank DeVere Bank in Federal High Court for firing her from her job as a senior Investment adviser to the Bank,she said she was first demoted and later transfer when she complained about the Wolf of Wall Street style and sexual harassment at Work.
Mrs Phillipa Okoye ,a British is married to Lawrence Okoye, a British discus thrower now a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers. Lawrence was born to a Nigerian Parent.
Mrs Okoye alleges that one co-worker told her: 'I think it’s disgusting when white women go out with black guys.’
Mrs Okoye alleged that her boss Benjamin Alderson lead must of the harassment,she said coworker told her don,t change your name if you marry Lawrence,they will think your are black ,
According to her Law suit, when she started at the deVere in October 2013, Mrs Okoye was the only woman and was told on the first day by Mr Alderson: 'So can you handle the banter or are you going to be a woman about it and be sensitive?'
Mr Alderson also asked her: 'How many cheerleaders has your boyfriend f***ed today? He’s probably f***ed the whole cheerleading squad by now.'
