David Letterman hosted his last Talk show after 33 years

Send off: David Letterman's final Late Show was star-studded. The Top 10 featured messages from (left-right) Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Peyton Manning, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Chris Rock, Jim Carey, Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Martin, Barbara Walters, and Alec Baldwin

Late night talk show host, David letterman hosted his last episode on Wednesday after 6,082 broadcast spanning 33 years with  tribute to his family,the 68 years old show host spoke to his wife and son who were in the audience.he said 'Thank you for being my family, and really, nothing else matters, does it.' 
The last episode was star studded with a video skit were four American President bid him farewell.


  • Letterman first presented Late Night in February 1982 on NBC before moving to CBS 11 years later in 1993 with the Late Show after NBC gave the prestigious Tonight Show to Jay Leno instead of him
