President -elect General Buhari is to drop the name General after he is sworn on May 29th as disclosed today by his Media team in a statement in Abuja.
In a statement signed by the Director, Directorate of Media and Publicity of the President-elect Shehu Garba who also released an official portrait of President-elect and vice President
“From May 29, 2015, the President-elect and Vice-President-elect are to be respectively known and addressed as Muhammadu Buhari, President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
