Girl as young a 8 years old are mandated to attend a sex camp in Mozambique and Zambia to teach them how to have sex in preparation for marriage,and how to be good at sex in marriage.
The training begins as soon as the girl begins menstruating,and in most cases involves inserting a stick into the girl virgina,according to child protection,once the girl fail to perform the sexual act correctly,it will attract punishment from the teacher,world vision,child protection organisation reveals.
In a Conference held in Morocco,In Zambia initiation into the camp begins from 8-13 years Anglican Priest Jackson Jones katete reveals.the moment the under aged girls come out of the one week camp,they are deemed ready for sex,then men come and they are betrothed as a wife.Family who refused to send their children to the sex camp are fined by community and such fines can have terrible effect on families in rural areas.
Half of the girls in Mozambique and 40% in Zambia are married off before they turn 18 years.
