A Nigerian Female Student Mary George Unazi was on Thursday sentenced to death by a Malaysian High Court.she was found guilty of smuggling 765.9kg Methamphetamine at the kuala Lumpa international airport 2011.
The Judge,Datuk Ghazali said the defence was just a mere denial,and the accused was unable to prove that she is not the owner of his bag that contain the narcotics
She committed the offence at the baggage claim of the international arrival hall at the KLIA at 3.10pm May 10,2011,She was charged under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which carries a mandatory death penalty upon conviction.
