A sharia court situated at Rijiya lemo area was set on fire on Friday by hundreds of Youths who were angry over blasphemous comment by a sect member of Tijjaniyya, Mallam Abdul Nyass.
They demonstrated from various part of Kano holding Placards,condemning the statement made by the sect member against prophet Mohammed.the youth marched to the Emir of Kano palace to register their complaint before the Emir,while Muslim men and women along the road were calling for the punishment of the culprit according to Islamic rites
The sect leader is a well known preacher who made a statement against the prophet at Goro Dutse area of Kano during his last week preaching.
