BBC Apologizes for false story over hotel selling human meat

       

The BBC has issue an apology for publishing a false story about a hotel in Anambra state Nigeria selling human flesh.
The report stated that the police found a fresh human head with blood still dripping,when they raided the hotel and the blood was in a process of been drained into a plastic bag.The story added that it was on a tip off from residents.
Realising the falsehood in the story, the organisation issue an apology

“The story about the Nigerian restaurant which we published here frame a mistake and we apologise. It was incorrect and BBC published without the proper checks. We have removed the story and have launched an urgent investigation into how this happened,” BBC said.
