Nigeria Police Intercept 850 Cutlasses In Katsina

           

The Katsina state Police Command disclosed over the weekend that they intercepted 850 cutlasses smuggled into the country by a political party for the Feb election purpose
The deputy Commissioner of police said that the cutlasses were new and warn that he will not tolerate violence and thuggery before, during and after the elections during a meeting he held with political parties,he urge the politician to work within the law,although he did not mention the political party responsible.
He added that the Police is non Partisan and its duties is to ensure peaceful conduct of the elections,he ask all political parties to submit their campaign rally timetable to avoid conflict
