Sunday Olubusayo 46 years old farmer on Wednesday killed his 3 year old daughter,behead his wife and there after committed suicide, the incident happened in Onigbedu town in Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State
Police spokesperson of Ogun said Investigation shows that the couple had quarrel before the killing but no one can say exactly what happen.
He said, “After beheading his wife and daughter, Olubusayo stabbed himself, set himself ablaze and tried to jump inside a well but was prevented by neighbours.
“He later died in the hospital of fatal wounds he had inflicted on himself.”
the corpses of the deceased had been deposited at the General Hospital, Ifo, also in the state for an autopsy.
A knife and machete stained with blood was found which is suspected to be the Murder weapon.
The commissioner of Police Mr Ikemefuna Okoye order a thorough investigation and the matter transfer to the criminal investigation department in Abeokuta
