Boris Johnson Visit Queen Elizabeth II
Boris Johnson officially became Prime Minister of the UK on Wednesday following a visit with Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. As is tradition in British democracy, the Queen formally invited Johnson, a leading Brexit campaigner and former London mayor, to form a government. Johnson is Queen’s 14th prime minister since her ascension in 1952
