20 Percent of Naira Note In Circulation are Fake -Ex Deputy Governor CBN

  

Ex-deputy governor of  Nigerian Central Bank Mr Obadiah Mailafia disclosed that 20% of the Naira in circulation in the country are fake.
He said this during a public hearing of 2017 budget appropriation process in the National Assembly on Monday, which he claimed the government is unaware of.He warned that the trend is dangerous and harmful to the growth of the Economy of the country.
