Army Send 1,000 Soldiers From Lagos To Borno

   

Nigerian Army has deployed 1000 soldiers from Lagos to Borno in a replacement of the fighting troops, the officers were drawn from 242 Reconnaissance Battalion in Badagry, Lagos.
The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Buratai  addressed the troops commanding them to got to the North East and wipe out Boko haram,
But urge them to obey the rule of engagement.he said the soldiers must respect human rights and ensure that civil­ians and captured terrorists are treated humanely.
He added that the Military will maintain the tempo of operation in the North East until Boko haram is defeated

 “We will continue to maintain the initiative until Boko Haram insurgents are defeated. This is a service to your nation. The problems of human rights abuse must be avoided, you must ensure you treat civil­ians humanely and also treat captured terrorists humanely.”
