Election Tribunal Sacks Kashamu, orders Fresh Election

                                 

The National and State Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta,Ogun State on Friday Nullifies the Election of Prince Kashamu Buruji,Senator representing Ogun East senatorial district over non compliance of electoral laws.
Justice Ebiowei in his judgement ordered Independent National Electoral Commission INEC ,to conduct fresh election in 110 polling unit in the senatorial district within 90 days.
The petition challenging Kashamu’s victory in the March 28 National Assembly elections, was filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dapo Abiodun.
