Terror Suspect who was paid compensation of a million pounds by the British Government after he was freed by the American from Guantanamo bay has fled to join Islamic State.
Jamal al-Harith was awarded the payout after being released from the US military jail in 2004.
He was captured in Afghanistan in March 2002 by US troops and flown to Guantanamo bay detention where he was locked up.he was released 2 years later after intense campaign by the Tony Blair's Government.
He launched a compensation claim on the grounds British agents knew or were complicit in his mistreatment and was handed up to £1million of taxpayers’ money to stay silent.
His escape was revealed by his wife a British citizen, a mother of 5, 33 years old Shukee Begum

Summarily the US Troops were right for capturing him in Afghanistan.
