Nigerian Arrested with N1Bn (4.6m Euros) Cash In Niger Republic

 
              

A Nigerian man has been arrested by Police in Niger republic with 4.6bn euros or N1bn cash at the  Diori Hamani Airport in Niamey, the capital of Niger, en route Dubai in the United Arab Emirate.

The Nigerien police said they suspected that the man was fleeing with the money from prosecution to avoid been prosecuted by the Buhari administration which is fighting corruption.
The Nigerien Police have raised an alarm about the Upsurge of Nigerian trafficking huge cash out of the Country through their country,with the suspicion of collaboration with  their citizens.the arrest has been a big news in Niger Newspapers and television.

Custom Official said there has been increase in arrest of several people trafficking money from Nigeria,putting the amount seized,running into billions of Naira.They said the seized money had been mainly in dollars, euros and pounds sterling,
