Ribadu wins PDP Gubernatorial Primaries In Adamawa

           


The Former Chairman of Economic and Financial Crime Commission ,Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has won the  Gubernatorial ticket of the ruling People Democratic Party .

The Former anti-graft boss beat six other candidates including the siting Governor Mr Ngilari to emerge the winner of the primaries held on Monday,
The election was moved to Abuja by the National working Committee due to the complaint against the Governor by the Panel earlier sent to conduct State Assembly primaries for holding them hostage.

The result Mr Rufai Hanga,  the Chairman of the Election Panel announce shows that Mallam Nuhu Ribadu got 688 votes, while the Governor Ngilari got 26 votes

AwwaL Tukur, the son of the former Chairman of the the PDP Bamanga Tukur got 24 votes,former Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission UBEC Ahmed Modibbo got 30 votes, retired General Aliyu Kama got 3 votes,while Marcus Gadiri got 3 votes.
